A WEEK THAT COULD CHANGE YOUR LIFE
Soak Encounters is a Christian hosted retreat offering a chance to focus on giving God a chance to meet you while you enjoy your time visiting a new place. This is a safe place where anyone can choose to share or just receive. Participation in the activities is optional and if you want, we can organise regional activities for you also.
As a small group of between 8 to 16, you will experience God’s presence through prayer, worship, a time of ministry and a chance for you to experience the local food, culture and activities. We do our best to balance your experience.
Time with others is also flexible as you can go off and spend time with yourself to self-reflect. Though we have a structured itinerary, we also allow times to go over if and when we feel led by the Holy Spirit as this is the encounter.

MORNING WORSHIP & SONGS
Gentle, joyful start to each day with music and Scripture.
OUTDOOR ADVENTURES
Team games, hiking paths, lakeside time, and group challenges.
WORKSHOPS & SMALL GROUPS
Space for honest conversations, creativity, and spiritual growth.
EVENING FIRE CIRCLE
Stories, testimonies, and quiet reflections under the stars.
DAILY SYNC
MORNING:
Breakfast together, followed by a time of worship and small-group devotions. Campers start the day grounded, inspired, and connected with one another.
AFTERNOON:
Outdoor games, creative workshops, and challenges that build confidence and real friendships. Every activity is designed to help campers discover new strengths.
EVENING:
Around the fire circle: testimonies, songs, shared stories, and moments of quiet prayer. A peaceful space where kids feel safe to open up and reflect.
NIGHT:
Rest time in supervised cabins with caring leaders. A calm, secure environment that helps every camper recharge for the next day.
VIBE CHECK
COMFORTABLE WITH NATURE
The location is beautiful, full of wildlife and this means bugs also. We offer skin-safe sprays for sale on site.
REALISTIC EXPECTATIONS
Every hosted experience will be different. This is how God operates and this is part of the excitement. Just be open and enjoy the week together.
ALCOHOL RESTRICTED
For the sake of avoiding any embarassing behaviour we ask kindly that you spend this week on a detox.
RESPECT FOR OTHERS
There will be people from all walks of life, cultures, other beliefs and some will be at different levels in their faith. We ask that everyone show patience and respect always.
PUBLIC DISPLAYS OF AFFECTION
We ask that you refrain from excessive affectionate acts when others are present and to dress modestly. It is also a cultural norm in The Philippines. Respect the locals.
